The objective is study and research in cancerology; publish and expand clarifications to the community, with the purpose of prevention and attainment of premature diagnosis of the disease; perform lectures, conferences, courses specialized in cancer for doctors, students, healthcare professionals e community; exchange with other national and international congener societies; stimulate the research and study, providing means for the fruition of this goal. All the research projects whose financial support were acquired by the institution will have to be referenced as being originated from it. The concrete results must generate patents to the financer and researchers who undertake the research.

 

The decree-law N. 98.830 and the Brazilian laws N. 9.279 and 8.974 will guide the publication of results and research sponsored by the institution.
